Over 450 Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) professionals and tech innovators gathered at the event on October 25th in Melbourne to explore future trends in construction and how best to employ technology to drive projects.

A huge thank you to both Aconex and the Victorian Government for hosting such a fantastic event and providing the opportunity to hear from contech thought leaders on critical industry themes, such as: Building Information Modeling (BIM); a process for creating and managing all of the information on a project – before, during and after construction.

Attendees had access to break out rooms, interactive presentations, project case studies and panel discussions on the technological trends reshaping the sector. The “People through the construction site in 2025” presentation was particularly interesting, as it provided a glimpse of what is still to come.

The summit also provided valuable opportunities to network, including a dinner on the Tuesday night prior, so that delegates and exhibitors could mingle and gain insights into each others’ backgrounds and experiences.
